• 1 x Winbond single bonding kit  (310ml winbond glazing adhesive, 30ml winbond primer, winbond glass wipe, primer applicator & nozzles)
• 2 meters of edge trim

Compatibility

The size of this window is 500mm x 220mm. The recommended cutout size is 460mm x 180mm. This window is suitable for bond type fitting. The Polycarbonate is UV protected, flat & high quality.

The way we advise fitting the porthole window is first offer the porthole up to the side of the van & draw around it. For the cut line you want to make a new line approximately 25mm inside of the initial line to allow enough of the side of the van to bond the window to. After cutting out the panel we suggest putting edge trim around the cut area to ensure it is protected and leaving a nice finish. Then bond the porthole window to the van.

Features

Makrolon® AR sheet is an abrasion and enhanced UV resistant polycarbonate sheet that offers glasslike hardness coupled with the impact strength of standard polycarbonate. Additionally, Makrolon® AR offers on both surfaces enhanced resistance against yellowing and hazing for an extended service life in high profile architectural glazing.

Applications: Typical applications for Makrolon® AR sheet include transparent sound barriers, school and hospital shelter glazing. Makrolon® AR is also used extensively in correctional and psychiatric facilities. Additionally, the product performs well for view windows and machine guards in harsh chemical environments. Due to its scratch-resistant coating, Makrolon® AR cannot be formed like other Makrolon® sheets.
